Mentoring Ministry - The Ministry of Reconciliation

18And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Matthews 28:18-20

Our Mission

Our desire as a church is to be able to live God's word and to inspire others to do so also.

It is of great importance to us that others be fortified as we help them create a spiritual habit that would help them mature in there walk with God.

Spiritual habits in a person's life are very important, and it is the reason why we are committed to helping new believers adapt to this new way of life, the abundant life.

Share your contact information with us.

To help assist you in this walk it's important to give us your contact information.

What will occur during home visits.

Jesus forgave my sins (1st Visit)

    During the first visit we will:

A. Reaffirm your decision to accept Christ.

B. To sow faith through the word of God

10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

John 10:10

---

9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:9

---

9 As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, “Follow Me.” So he arose and followed Him.

10 Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples. 11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

12 When Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

Matthew 9:9-13

C. Reaffirm that you have been forgiven.

11 For as the heavens are high above the earth,
So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;
12 As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us.

Psalms 103:11-12

Some key verses:

---

All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

Isaiah 53: 6

---

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who[a] do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

Romans 8: 1

Some things to remember:

  1. Jesus is our example

    • Jesus took our place so that our sins could be forgiven.

  2. Because man failed, Jesus came and brought with him the way to be reconciled with the father.

    • He finished his mission and is now initiating your task on earth.

  3. Bring clarity that we were all sinner.

  4. Jesus chose this place for us and when we accept it, we are totally free from all condemnation

I received Jesus Christ into my life (3rd Visit)

D. Help you decide what you will do with this gift of salvation.

E. It is a gift that was given to us so that it could be shared with others. We have the responsibility to share it with others the same way it was shared with us.

14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

Romans 10:14
